Job Description: Our Commercial Project Managers will bring Solar Industry experience to ensure the successful, high-quality execution of commercial solar projects per design documents and contract requirements.   The ability to understand prime contract and all sub-contract details are critical to ensure these requirements are met.   The candidate for this role will be a collaborative team player with exceptional communication skills and can work autonomously and self-directed.   

This is a home-based role and can be located anywhere in New England.

Success Factors: 

Success in this job role will depend on your ability to handle a variety of requirements. 

  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Management of the client relationship
  • Manage project cash flow including client, subcontractor, and vendor invoicing
  • Develop and manage project scope, schedule and budget
  • Oversee design, permitting and inspections
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Estimating teams to negotiate and finalize subcontracts with partners
  • Daily management and coordination with other Project Managers and Construction Managers to ensure adequate internal or subcontracted resources for all projects
  • Daily management of internal and external site resources
  • Active management of all subcontracts
  • Prepare final project documentation
  • Ensure successful QA/QC and commissioning process
  • Engage in project handoff/closeout to customer
  • Prepare and coordinate "Lessons Learned" meetings that include relevant internal staff 

You don't need to have these, but you'll be even more prepared for the job if you have:

  • PMP Certification
  • NABCEP Certification
