Namaste Solar is a Certified B-Corp and a WorldBlu certified democratic workplace.

 Job Description:

Management and oversight of Regional Project Managers, Service Staff, Field Installation Staff, Construction Managers, Designers, and a variety of subcontractors.  This position is responsible for the California and Southwest region and is a home-based role that can be located anywhere in California.  Coordination of regional resources to accomplish operational goals and management of the regional installation schedule is critical and also includes:

  • Resource hiring, development, departures
  • Subcontractor coordination,
  • Regional office and equipment management

 What We're looking for:

You'll thrive in this job if you're an excellent communicator, are organized, and can work autonomously.  The ability to perform a variety of tasks wearing "multiple hats" is needed.  Management, technical knowledge, process development, and problem-solving are a few of the "hats" needed for this role.  On top of these characteristics, we're looking for someone with:

  • Commercial solar project management experience with systems greater than 1 MW
  • Ability to travel regionally to support operations and project managers on a regular basis
  • A desire to be part of something greater than individual achievement.
  • An understanding that pay at Namaste Solar is transparent and is relative to others in our worker-owned cooperative.
  • Someone that has done a bit of research on Namaste Solar and is excited about our company and business model

You don't need to have these, but you'll be even more prepared for the job if you have:

  • PMP Certification
  • NABCEP Certification
