Namaste Solar is looking for a Construction Accountant with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team.

What We're looking for:

  • Construction accounting experience, including percent complete and job costing
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong analytical and Excel spreadsheet knowledge
  • Strong critical thinking skills and independent problem-solving, self-directed individual who works well in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Effectively prioritize multiple responsibilities in a deadline driven environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel skills
  • General familiarity in reading and interpreting commercial contracts and agreements


Job Duties:

  • Prepare and manage Work in Progress schedules/conduct fade analysis
  • Manage collection efforts with commercial customers
  • Participate in Project meetings with Project Managers and Team Leads
  • Manage under-billings and communications with project managers
  • Contract review and pricing
  • Track and maintain warranty costs and warranty liability
  • Interface with auditors
  • Review and sign lien waivers and payment requests
  • Contribute and lead the improving, automating and streamlining of accounting processes
  • Support month, quarter and year-end close
  • Oversee quarterly/annual physical inventory counts and cycle counts
  • Other tasks as needed by the accounting and finance team
